Scarlett
was amazingly successful as a brood bitch, and as a show dog. The
dam of 10 champions, this number includes 2 Grand Champion sons,
"Black Adder" and "La Forge" and a 3rd Specialty
winning son, New Zealand Champion Blackcombe Cracker. Her
daughters too, have made their mark. With the her daughter Ch
Blackcombe Elizabeth winning challenge bitch at the 2000 Rottweiler
National Show (Australia), and one of her other daughter, NZ and
Australian Ch Blackcombe Kes winning challenge bitch at the first NZ
Rottweiler National Show in 2001 (NZ). There are too many V
ratings and Groups and Best in Shows to count amongst her
children. We're very proud of what she has achieved for our
kennel.
Scarlett was been V rated numerous times in her own career, and has won 3 Specialty
bitch challenges under the following breed specialists, Catherine
Thompson (USA), Elina Haapinaimmi (Finland) and Josef Mravik
(Slovakia) - on the last occasion from the Veteran Bitch Class!
But none
of that is really what's important, or why you own a dog. For 10
years she was my constant companion and the best dog I've ever had the privilege
of sharing my life with. Scarlett
was lost to us a few years ago because of bone cancer, and our home has not been the same
since - nor will it ever be.
